Description:

This was an irresistible view to paint. An idyllic natural beauty that refreshes the spirit. My source was a photo in a book about Italy, so I do not offer the painting or prints for sale. It was my first attempt at a water/landscape several years ago, and the only painting I have on my gallery that is not from my own original photo or on-site sketches. I posted it because it is representational of my painting style and one of the few pieces I had when I joined FAA, and I have had many nice comments on it so I keep it posted.
